The last news update recorded the yard's first winners since the shutdown of racing when Man of the Sea, Hidden Depths and Glengar delivered three wins in three days.

At the time of writing that post, we could hardly have known that the streak was going to be extended to a magnificent seven winners in a week!

Perth is a track that the yard likes to support with runners and they often produce some good national hunt ground in summer conditions.  Four horses were in the box for their meeting on Tuesday 21st July and two of them, Lake Baikal and Harbour Force, delivered wins number four and five in a five day period.  Lake Baikal is owned by leading owner JP McManus and it was JP's rider Richie McLernon who was on board for this one, riding a rare winner for the yard.  Harbour Force was a win for Millie Wonnacott whose 7lb claim is a valuable asset in handicap company as she rides as well as many jockeys who do not get a weight allowance and the day could have been even better with Heavey, unfortunately, brought down and Master Burbidge not far away in his race.

The action was much closer to home the next day, in fact, the closest track to the yard, Bath!  Hidden Depths was back in action after his weekend win.  It was the same course, the same distance, the same ground conditions, the same jockey (Liam Keniry) and fortunately also the same result, with winner number six going into the record books.

The "Magnificent Seven" in a week was completed at Uttoxeter on Thursday 23rd July when Viking Ruby was a 16-1 winner, ridden by Harry Reed.  Returning to the course after a break of 224 days, it was great to see her run so well.

With no entries in the following three days, the run of winners had to end somewhere, but it was great fun while it lasted and it gives everyone a target to try to match in the coming weeks and months.
