I am pleased to be able to report on two more winners since Doing Fine won at Cheltenham on New Years Day.

It is always nice to have a winner at the televised Saturday afternoon meetings and Fingerontheswitch delivered one for the yard at Kempton on 11th January.  With a lot of very soft ground recently, it was nice to get some good to soft underfoot conditions and Fingerontheswitch was ridden by Millie Wonnacott who has built a good rapport with the horse having ridden him several times already this season.  Things got a bit tight around the home turn, but Millie did well to hold her position and Fingerontheswitch travelled strongly up the home straight to run out a ten length winner.

Fingerontheswitch has been a lovely horse to have in the yard and has been a consistently good performer.  He has now won over £90,000 in prizemoney over his career and it was great to see him back in the winners' enclosure.

Our second winner came on Friday 17th January when Runasimi River won her second consecutive race, following up her Fontwell win with another at Chepstow.  Heavy ground at Chepstow takes some getting through, but the mare put her stamina to good use staying on strongly up the straight to record a three-length win.  This was also another winner for Millie Wonnacott who has now ridden three winners since Christmas.

It would be nice to see some better ground soon, but the horses are running well and that is great to see - long may it continue!
