In the last 10 days the horses have been running brilliantly we have had a lot of placed horses and a nice couple of winners. Alot of the horses are beginning their summer holidays and they could not ask for better weather to be out relaxing in, it is such a lovely sight to see them out grazing and being part of a herd.
The trip across the water to Les Landes in Jersey was worth while with two winners and two seconds. All ridden by Brian Hughes, Dajam's (Mike Burbidge's) owned both the winners Molliana won the 1m1f handicap by a length and Man Of The Sea won the 5 1/2f sprint by 4 lengths. Mrs Burbidge and Moayadd finished second in each of their races. We are making a return trip to Jersey for racing on Bank Holiday Monday.
