About The Racing Club

The Neil Mulholland Racing Club was formed to deliver racing at an affordable price to anyone who wants to get involved with the fun of owning racehorses. For every 12 members, we aim to lease another horse to the Club.

We have had some great success with the club colours being carried to victory by Doing Fine in several big races, by La Cavsa Nostra, and recently by Midnight Gold.

We currently have two horses in the racing club.

Midnight Gold is a handicap hurdler who won her last start for the club at Southwell in June.  She has been off the racecourse since, but we hope to see her back racing soon.

Inspector Lynley was moved into the club in late 2023.  After being competitive in the Autumn, he found the heavy ground in December too much to handle and we decided to give him a break during the rest of the winter.  He should be back in the Spring and will hopefully get his head in front for the first time in the coming months.

Club Benefits and Costs

All prize money that has been won in the previous 6 months is divided between the members at the end of December and the end of June.  The cost of membership is just £150 per month all-inclusive. Owners’ tickets on race day are available on a first-come, first-served basis and the racecourses will sell discounted tickets to anyone else in the Club who wants them.

Communications

Each member is treated as an individual and receives emails with details of entries and results for the Club horses, as well as updates on other runners from the yard.  Members are welcome to come and see the horses at the yard by arrangement and to see the horses in the stables and on the gallops.

If you are interested in joining the Racing Club, please contact us to have a chat and we will send you the relevant forms.
