So the last meeting of 2019 at Les Landes finished on a high with 3 winners from 3 runners. Best of all though was the fact that Mike Burbidge my long time owner and supporter took Champion Owner of 2019 and his consistant mare Molliana took the title of champion horse of the 2019 season, all in front of his family who had joined him over in Jersey alongside my own family.

Molliana won the Oakbridge Claredon Handicap (1m4f) by 2 1/4 lengths with Brendan Powell in the saddle after challenging 3f out she led in the final furlong to win comfortably, giving her 6 wins over there this season.

Man Of The Sea won the handicap sprint (5 1/2f) by a neck under Brendan staying on strongly and leading close to home to give the Burbidge's a double.

Geoff and Joan's consistant and charming little horse Magical Thomas provided them with yet another win, winning the Lady Brenda Cook Memorial Handicap Hurdle (2m4F) by 5 lengths after going clear 2 out to win extermely comfortably.

The Jockey Clubs Ownership's Carolines Charm proved that going over fences was the name of the game after jumping superbly for Sam in the 2m5 1/2f attheraces Novices Chase to win by a length.
