Festival Entries And Your Chance to Own One Of Them

Since the last update, there have been several storms, an awful lot of rain and numerous meetings abandoned due to waterlogging!

The all-weather has often been the only racing available with all the turf racing either abandoned or run on very soft ground.  We have come close to having winners in the last couple of weeks.  Master Burbidge was 2nd at Lingfield on the all-weather and Kansas City Chief looked like he would win at Doncaster last week, but jinked approaching the last hurdle and ran out.  We had another place from Mount Oliver who was 3rd at Sedgefield and he would have been closer had he not been hampered approaching the home straight.

The yard has 20 entries for the Cheltenham Festival in two weeks with some horses entered in several races.  Plans will be firmed up in the next week or ten days, but let's hope that a few of them get the right conditions to take their chance.

One of our entries is our race club horse, Doing Fine, in the Kim Muir.  He has other targets as well in the coming weeks including possibly the Ulster National the week after Cheltenham.  Plans for him will be firmed up as we get more information about the likely ground and opposition in each race.  We are hoping however that he will be running in some decent races between now and the end of the season and he should provide club members with some brilliant days out at the races.
